Travel Information
All air ticketing must be done by Imprint Science/All Nations Tours to qualify for group airfare rates, as well as to qualify for the complimentary ground transfers to and from Vancouver International Airport. All airline tickets must be charged to a credit card. Your travel itinerary, based on the information you provide Imprint Science/All Nations Tours will be e-mailed to you for your approval before ticketing. If ticketing is not done through Imprint Science/All Nations Tours we will be unable to assist with changes or revisions to your itinerary.

Round-trip air transportation for you and your spouse/guest is at your own expense. There is no reimbursement for charges incurred for travel to and from your departure city. Non-refundable zone-fare tickets range in price from $550 to $850 US plus applicable taxes per person, depending on your departure and return city. They are based on round-trip travel, plus any applicable surcharges (including a $70 US booking fee) and passenger facility charges. All tickets must be issued at least 21 days prior to your departure in order for you to qualify for these fares. Please note that airlines may charge up to $100 US change fee for any adjustments made to your ticket after booking.

Round-trip ground transfers to and from Vancouver International Airport will be provided for you. Uniformed meet-and-greet staff coordinators will meet you upon your arrival. The drive time between Vancouver International Airport and Whistler is approximately 2 1/2 hours. You are required to check in for your return flight home at least 2 hours prior to your departure. Please schedule accordingly.

Please note that if you are traveling from the US to Canada, a passport or original copy of a birth certificate and government-issued photo identification card (eg, driver's license) is required. If you are a naturalized citizen and do not have a passport, you should travel with your naturalization certificate and a government-issued identification card. All US citizens entering Canada from a third country must have a valid passport. Alien permanent residents of the US must present their Alien Registration Card, commonly called a "Green Card." Hotel Information
A block of rooms, with special negotiated rates, has been secured at The Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort for Research Rounds 21 participants. Please do not make your hotel reservations directly with the hotel, as you will not qualify for these special rates.

All hotel reservations must be made through Amanda Asch at IntraMed [Tel: (800) 960-3303; Fax: (860) 824-1313]. Rates per room, per night, are $329 CA ($283 US)* for single/double occupancy of a standard room, plus applicable taxes. A 1-night deposit will be charged to your credit card in order to secure your hotel confirmation. Hotel lodging and all incidentals charged to your room at The Chateau Whistler Resort are at your own expense. Early arrivals and late departures can also be arranged at your own expense. Please indicate this on your registration form.

Research Rounds 21 begins with a Welcome Reception on the evening of Friday, August 11th, and concludes after breakfast on Tuesday, August 15th. In accordance with all relevant Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) code and Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) guidelines, we will be implementing a new guest policy regarding attendance at meal functions. Any non-faculty or attendee guests will be asked to pay a modest fee. To remain compliant and in good standing with both PhRMA and ACCME, guests are welcome to attend dinner functions only for a fee of $50.00 USD/person per day. There will be a Special Services/Hospitality Desk available to provide for your complete personal and professional needs while you attend Research Rounds 21.

Confirmation of your attendance—with complete itinerary and travel documents—will be sent to you via FedEx at least 10 days prior to the meeting. Please note that neither Roche Laboratories Inc. nor any of its contracted vendors (including, but not limited to, consultants, advertising agencies and meeting planning services) are responsible for flight cancellations, delays or misconnections, overnight accommodations and amenities, carrier bankruptcies or defaults, fare changes or other additional costs that may be incurred.

*US dollar value may fluctuate because of changes in the exchange rate.
